An exhaust system tough enough for your utility vehicle. Made of 100% stainless steel; increases power and reduces unnecessary weight. Dyno tested and computer designed for maximum results. Exhaust noise levels stay down because of the low restriction, sound-canceling inner chambers; there is no fiberglass packing to replace or blow out. 2” rolled outlet tube on the end cap. Mufflers are durable and maintenance-free
FMF’s Powerline series has all of that same laser-sharp focus, this time aimed at the very special demands of utility quads. It’s no secret that utility ATVs see some of the toughest terrain and worst running conditions, and that’s exactly what FMF addressed with the design of the new Powerline exhaust canister. Unlike many ATV mufflers that are shoved into a utility role without any internal changes, this FMF silencer was designed from the get-go with the utility quad as the targeted user. The Powerline ATV muffler is constructed with durability in mind. It’s been specifically designed, developed and manufactured to deal with the high-temperature/low-speed running that most utility quads contend with. That’s a whole different set of wants and needs than the sport quad market calls for, and once again FMF threw away the book and started with a ground-up approach.
Probably the most distinctive feature of this muffler is its entirely mechanical interior and baffling system. There’s no muffler packing whatsoever, meaning that when this muffler gets wet—as it most certainly will in its utility role—there’ll be no deterioration of the internal packing at all, because there is none. The Powerline’s maintenance-free mechanical baffle doesn’t mind what running conditions it’s subjected to. And just to make sure, and underscore that durability factor, the construction is completely stainless steel. Inside and out. And here’s something else. While this FMF muffler most definitely improves performance, that performance doesn’t come with a lot of additional sound over a stock system. There are interchangeable end caps, too, allowing further tuning of the performance and sound, depending on a rider’s needs at any given moment. Bolting on a Powerline can even aid handling. It’s lighter than an OE muffler and could lower the ATV’s center of gravity for added stability in off-camber situations.
